brunk - Hey! - album artwork (https://brunk.bandcamp.com/album/hey)After the album ‘Hey!‘ was released in October last year, to my surprise it got picked up by a radio show called Kinky Star Radio, on local radio Urgent.fm in Ghent (BE).
Which was very nice of course!

The show focusses on new and adventurous alternative music, without stylistic restrictions and a preference for experiments – sounds like a natural habitat for brunk indeed πŸ™‚
It is a great show,Β  highly recommended.

(Kinky Star also is a very nice music venue in Ghent, programming all kinds of adventurous bands and projects (hell, even Karen Eliot once performed live there!) – so this radio show nicely complements the venue πŸ™‚ )

There’s a weekly podcast version on mixcloud, each with a track list – which is nice to discover stuff, and on their facebook page they always provide links to the bands pages.

There were none less than consecutive 6 episodes where a track by brunk – each time a different track from ‘Hey!’- got in the playlist… the last one being the ‘best of 2019 part 1’ playlist πŸ™‚
